ft . New build has shared driveway and pvt rode. Area around 10 yr home is somewhat nicer than where new build is. Which most likely would be a better resale in 15 years?

Wish I had a crystal ball so that I could give you an accurate answer, but don't; none of us knows where the market will be down the road, nor the trends, and at this time I agree, location, location.

Depends on location, location, location and market trends at that time. Look at today's market. No one can give you a definitive answer to this question.

Hi Bernadette,
If you are working with a Buyer's agent they should be able to help you with this situation. The home on the private road may or may not have more difficulty in selling depending on how the road maintainance is handled. The private road issue scares some buyers away and may affect future values. The 10 year old home if maintianed will hold value just as well as a 15 year old home if it is maintained well too.

If you are interested in working with Buyer Representaion and you don't have a Buyer Rep I would be happy to speak with you.
