An insurance policy for a $600,000 house shouid cost between $800 and $1100 depending on not only your rebuild cost, but also the deductable that you choose to have. Earthquake and flood insurance will be more, and depends on the location of the house. Hope this helps.

Valor, My home is valued in the $600's, and I pay about 900 per year. However, a lot depends on how close the home is to certain fault lines, the value of the land, what rebuilding costs are, etc. You can save if you have more than 1 policy with your company they discount both sometimes......

Valor,

That is not necessarily true...because I only pay about 750 a year. Your best bet is to call/contact a local insurance company, or find a house that you'd like to buy. Depending on where, the condition, and some other factors will determine the annual homeowners insurance.

Roughly $2,500.00 a year - no earthquake insurance included. Probably the insurance company will want the electrical to be on breakers and perhaps not in a landslide zone. I hope that helps. Liz
