Rent-to-own condo's in SoMa?

My wife and I do not have 20% down for a house this year. We have good income and fair credit. We are interested in buying a 2/2 condo in SoMa, but can't qualify for a loan this year due to the down payment. Are there any rent-to-own condo's available? Looking for resales - not developer owned (can only get FHA financing at the end of the rent). Thanks for your time.

Wes,

I currently have a listing at 1330 Stevenson St. #c102. It is a 2 bedroom/1 bath home. If you are interested in this property after viewing it, I can discuss your option with the sellers.

Dear Wes,

It is catch as catch can as you can see from the answers below. Most listings are not listed with lease options to purchase. Do you have a realtor? Tell her/him which buildings appeal to you and have her check them out by asking the listing agents. Or writing a letter to owners in those buildings to see if one would consider doing a lease option.

If you do not have a realtor, ask one of us. We would be glad to assist you.

Cheers,

Sally

Wes,

As it turns out we have a listing that the owners may consider a lease/own option agreement. The property is a 2BR 2.5 BA loft. Please send me your contact info and I will follow up with you on the details.
