I can do a search of all other homes for sale in the area as well and can open up any home for sale to show you. If you are interested, my search would educate you on all the aspects of this neighborhood.

I would recommend utilizing a professional, licensed home inspector to check out any home you like. This way you can utilize their experience in investigating all aspects of the home. A REALTOR (R) like myself with experience in investing in real estate will also eliminate homes that would require a lot of work to repair.

Arran Lakes West is a great area located in a wonderful school system. Visit a website that offers a IDX link which includes all active homes for sale. Arran Lakes West is a nice area with homes on the market right now that range for $74,000 to $169,000, it is a big range I know. Some areas are older than the rest but most of the homes were built in the 1980's and 1990's. There are some very nice homes there, when when you do find a home you like you will want to get a home inspection and a termite inspection. You will also want to look at the house and see how it has aged over the years, did the previous owners take care of it. Also as you tour the home how much will it cost you to make it move in ready if it isn't already, how much will it cost you to make the appropriate upgrades it may need. And you will want to know that this are has been annexed into the city, if the house has a well and or septic tank be prepared to get the house hooked up to the public water utilities. Don't get scared when you see an older home, just go in with your eyes open and evaluate the possibilities.
