Although Evergreen was originally a logging and cattle community, we have grown into a near-destination resort community. Lots of recreation choices, ice skating, biking, hiking, lots of shopping and services along with a quaint downtown area promoting family options.
You'll also find Echo Mountain Snowboard Park and hundreds of acres of open space. A truly unique area unmatched in all of Colorado.
For your price range and a convenient access to downtown Denver you might look at the Ridge at Hiwan - homes priced from 650,000 - 2,000,000 with varying lot sizes, privacy, views, age and size. Tanoa and The Woods are also popular in Evergreen. You might also consider Genesee area if you want a real close commute although Evergreen offers more of an immediate community.

Evergreen is a terrific place to raise kids! There are a wealth of superior schools, extensive outdoor activities and convenient proximity to both the city culture as well as the high countries boundless opportunities in skiing, fly-fishing, hiking, biking, and exploring.
