Relocating from Northern NJ to Naples - looking for guard gated family oriented new construction communities near parochial schools - any help??

Asked by pomo, Naples, FL Tue Jul 22, 2014

We are relocating to Naples from Northern NJ and I would like our children to attend St. Ann School in Naples and then on to the St John Neumann for HS. I do not think there is bus transportation to either of these schools so location near the schools would be important. Can anyone recommend communities that are worth taking a look at. Budget approx 1.5M

Good Evening Pomo,
I would be more than happy to assist you with your real estate needs. A few communities which offer new construction in your price point would be Grey Oaks, Talis Park, and Mediterra. They are all wonderful gated family friendly communities which I think would be of interest. All of the communities listed above are located within a short drive to both schools.

To view Talis Park's real estate -- http://www.napleshomes.com/talis-park.php

To view Mediterra's real estate -- http://www.napleshomes.com/mediterra.php

I am actually a resident of Mediterra and would be more than happy to give you a tour of the community and new construction opportunities.

Please feel free to reach out to me via email ryan@napleshomes.com, via cell 239.244.1559, or via website http://www.napleshomes.com

I look forward to the opportunity to assist you.

Congratulations on your decision to move - you won't regret it!

First, you should know that Naples is pretty easy to get around, especially when taking Livingston Rd, from downtown Naples all the way to North Naples, so with your budget, you have lots of areas to consider.

Based on the location of those schools, you might want to consider a new gated community called Isles of Collier Preserve, a brand new gated development located very close to downtown Naples. I've visited a few times and loved the old key west style homes.

I think the big question about the "Isles" is going to whether its family orientated, but its definitely worth considering.

I think you should also look into Stock Development, as they are building new construction in a number of high end communities, and I've always been impressed with their product.

I would consider Lely Resort

Treviso Bay (just a little up the road from Isles of Collier Preserve.

Hello New Jersey,
You have chosen some nice schools for your children. I actually worked at St. Ann's and SJN in the past and I saw many families who carpooled to and from school.
St. Ann's is located in downtown Naples while SJN is located in Golden Gate. Gated communities located between those areas include Hawks Ridge and Banyan Woods (both gated at night) and Grey Oaks which is manned 24/7.
We don't have any gated communities west of US 41 in that area but students from The Moorings, Park Shore, and Pelican Bay (non gated) attended those schools while I was there.
If I can answer any more questions, please contact me at 239-261-4554. I've been in Naples 40 years and our children attended local schools with which we were pleased.

A good move... I've helped other families relocate from Northern states, most recently from MA & NJ -- with glowing testimonials. And our family attended St John Neuman.

I recently worked with new owners who are enjoying their purchase of a new construction home in Mediterra. And many of my other customers bought at other new construction communities -- in addition to Resale homes in newer communities. It helps to work with a Realtor with local knowledge and vast experience (licensed since 1983 in MA & FL).

Please feel free to contact me to help you to find a home and community that is right for you. I'd love to add you to my long list of happy customers.

Best regards

St. Ann's and St. John Neumann are not very close to each other. Naples has to directions of growth right now - North Naples (near Collier Blvd & Immokalee Road) and East Naples (which is basically south of Naples) so most of the new construction communities you will find in be in these areas. The one exception would be Grey Oaks, which is centrally located in Naples and probably closer to St. John Neumann than St. Ann but is still within a 15-20 minute drive to St. Ann during Season. I specialize in new construction luxury homes and would be happy to speak more with you about your options.
