I am a seller who would love to sell you my beautiful home in Parkland. We are in our late 70's to mid 80's and have to downsize due to illness. Our home is listed at 5948 NW 72 Way, Parkland, Fla 33067. Built in 2001. Check us out on MLS or Prudential. We want a quick closing and are motivated.

one of the best communities to live and play and work in in Parkland is Parkland Golf and Country Club by far the schools in the district are ranked first in the state, the community if full of young families and the amenities are second to none you move in and you live in a great community with full amenities and you never have to leave.....its resort style living every day and the weather cannot be beat !

Parkland is a great choice to raise a family! We have some of the best schools in the US, lots of sports activities, large lots in gated or non-gated communities, etc. It really depends on your price but in each price range there are multiple choices.

I think you should look at Aventura, Fl. It is a little closer to the water, Great schools and an overall great place for families.

We relocated from Boston in 1987 from Boston with 2 boys, ages 2 and 4. Wow now they are CPAs and attorneys due to the public schools here rated #1 by Forbes magazine in the entire US !! Parkland has great neighborhoods raning in price from $300,000 to $5M. The roads are very convenient to commute to Miami or West Palm Beach. We chose Parkland over Wellington after coming from an acre and a half. We wanted land for out boys to play and got the best of both worlds by buying in an acre lot gated community. Lisa teaches AP American History at the Parkland HS and I can tell you that her kids are accepted to all the Ivy League schools, hence great for your resale value.

Any community in Parkland will be great for them. I know parkland very well and live here for years since I moved from New York.

Feel free to call me 9542356124 or email me at Ele4realestate@gmail.com.

Depends on which community then prices would change. Be prepare to spend anything from 350 up to million on a house. HOA fees are a must to keep and ranges base on the communities and amenities.

I know new construction and re-sale very well.

Any questions Jojo? Send me an email!

Hi there, I have lived in Parkland for over 20 years...I know it very well and have seen it change and grow in to a fabulous city. Parkland is a wonderful city and there are no bad neighborhoods. There may be a difference in price point, but homes vary from about $400,000+ to +++ All the schools in Parkland are A rated. Would love to help in your search, feel free to contact me at any time.

It depends on your price and gated vs non-gated communities. Without more information it would be a shot in the dark, but all communities in Parkland are good for families, clean neighborhoods.

Hi Gary. I think you responded to my post on Boca as well. I am looking for gated. We are able to go up to $900K or so but that doesnt mean we want to :) What would your top 5 places to live be? My husband will be working in Boca.

Hi Jojo,

Per your question on Trulia > Relocating from Boston area & looking at Parkland. Have 2 young boys 7 & 9. What are some of the better/recommended communities for kids/families?

I chose Weston for my Daughter and Family over Parkland 10 years ago, and never a regret. Is Parkland a job location scenario you are restricted by? Are you involved with a Relocation Company-Package, or just looking for the BEST?

Parkland is a very friendly family orientated city. Parkland is quite beautiful with many gated and guard gated communities. There is Fox Ridge, Heron Bay, The Landings and Parkland Golf and Country Club to name a few. Some communities have more amenities than others and some Home Owner Association fees are higher than other communities. I would be happy to send you some searches.

The top community is Heron Bay[350,000 to over 2,000,000], Followed by parkland Isles[mid 300's to high 600's] Then you have Parkland Golf & Country Club[500,000 to over 3,000,000]
There are several new communities in the early stages of release with occupancy starting in 8 to 12 months-those will be priced from the 500,000 range to over 1,000,000.
