Laquita, sorry for the delay. My best friend is a realtor here and I was going to use her, but she stood me up today, and I'm thinking to preserve our friendship, I should go another route. Please call me at your convenience. My # is 615-290-4574. I was supposed to go look at properties today but with no realtor, that's nt going to happen :(

Thanks again for reaching out.

Hi Camille, there are a few areas and options that comes to mind. How many beds/baths are you looking for? How soon are you looking to make your purchase?

Hey Laquita, thanks for responding. 2 or 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths is preferred, and there is some flexibility in my price point - that is, I can go up for a property I fall in love with :) And as far as timing, I start my new job mid January, so the sooner the better, although I understand wth financing and closing, it may take a bit longer, so definitely by April, would be ideal. Thanks again!

If you are looking for advice on areas, real estate agents are not allowed to comment on a variety of topics. The Fair Housing Act restricts the information that can be provided by a real estate agent.

Off Limit Topics Include:
• Crime Statistic (including questions about whether a neighborhood is good or bad or safe)
• Demographics
• Environmental Concerns
• Household Income
• Religion
• Schools (including questions about how good or bad the school is)

Determining to the answers to questions on any of the topics listed above is something that you would need to do on your own. It is up to the individual to make their own determination about a specific area. If a real estate agent were to comment on such a thing, it could be steering which is a prohibited act.

If Camille chooses to use an Agent/Broker to represent her interests in your FSBO, Mihir, have you included a co-op in your price? She might want to know what other similar properties are selling for in East Point before she offers on yours, as well as having someone to include Contingencies to protect her before finishing the Due Diligence phase. Once again, Good Luck!

Hi Camille,

I'm a for-sale-by-owner and I have a great new townhome in East Point, which is located between Newnan and Downtown. The home has 3 bedrooms/3.5 bathrooms, hardwood floors, all appliances, granite countertops, fireplace, garage, deck, etc. I'd love to send you more details if you are interested. My email is mihir@gatech.edu. Looking forward to your message.

Consider looking in my hometown of Hapeville, Camille. You would have about a 15 minute drive to Buckhead and Phipps Plaza or a 20 minute commute to Newnan. Please call, text or email if we can provide further assistance. Good Luck!
