Willis, if you have VA benefits that will allow you to do zero down, this is a great time to buy a home. There is alot to choose from, prices are lower than they have been in years and rates are in the low 5% range. If you wait a few more years, things will change dramatically and the opportunity will pass you by.

If you can afford to rent to own the place, you can afford the mortage payment. $100,000 mortage is $552.00/month right now. With lease options you are required to put down a few months rent also as a deposit. This money can stay in your pocket and you get in zero down.
