Asked by Jackie Crowe, Marietta, GA Mon Aug 18, 2014

I am single, have been at my job for over a year, I have a bankruptcy, and I am paying just a $1000 per rent. Could I be able to get a mortgage

You will need to talk with a reputable lender and they will lay out everything you need to do to get ready to buy a home. Contact me and we will set you up with a couple of them to talk with

I am in a similar situation as the original poster. I don't have a bankruptcy, but my credit score is not as good as it one was. The bank approved me for $175,000 seven years ago, but then the troubles began. Do you think there is any chance of getting a comparable loan?

I hope you were able to get qualified. If you have not spoken with a lender yet, I would love to speak with you and breakdown your available options. I live in Woodstock, and work in Marietta.

The worst anybody can say is "no." Even if you aren't able to get a home loan now, don't give up. I used to have horrible credit, and I just got approved. It took a lot of hard work, but it is worth it.
