Best wishes to you Titi. I'm sure you will love having a home in wonderful Austin as much as we who are lucky enough to already live here do. If I can help you in any way, please let me know. I offer a comprehensive package of information regarding our area to out of town buyers looking to relocate (or in your case purchase a second home), to help them become more familiar with the city and suburbs. Just let me know, and I'll be happy to send you one.

Hello Titi,

Since Austin is consistently rated in the Top 10 list for relocation it is imperative that ALL agents in our area know how to work with clients long distance. If you are seeking an experienced agent you will discover that most of us are currently working with out of state buyers purchasing property here and I don't think you will find an agent NOT willing to work long distance. So, to that end you will need to choose an agent that you feel comfortable with and that you trust.

I would suggest you visit different agents websites so that you can learn a little bit more about them and then visit with some over the phone. I work in all areas of Austin, concentrating on luxury homes and lake properties, but I sell all over Austin and have also sold houses to investors as rental properties. I am a broker associate with the top company in Austin and affiliated with a smaller luxury boutique company within Keller Williams Luxury Homes International. It is a company made up of top producers in Austin.

I would love to help you with your search for a second home. You can visit my website at http://www.francielittlehomes.com

Titi;
I'd be my pleasure to work with you and help you in any way I can. Im a native Austinite, I've worked with clients from everywhere you could imagine, I've been a Broker in Austin since 1984; you be hard pressed to find a more experienced and knowledgeable Realtor than me. I service oriented and results driven. My job is to get the results my clients desire, make the process fun and enjoyable and I absolutely promise to not treat you like the typical realtor from some big brokerage claiming to be the best this or that . All my business is by referral, my business relationships last! "I'm always working for the client, before, during and after the sale"

You will get a lot of takers to work with you long distance! Myself included. Most people (almost 90%) start their home search online. So it's not much different than working with someone in town.

I do personal Austin tours for my clients that are not familiar with the area. And as an Architect, Broker-Realtor & Builder I offer a comprehensive service.

Please feel free to contact me anytime.

So many answers, whom are you going to work with? We all want to help you buy your second home. I work long distance a lot with mostly relocating people and investors. I am used to work long distance and you will find that I am very helpful and always answer your messages and all your questions. I can advise you, depending on your budget, where to look for a home, whether a single family home or a condo is best and guide you through the process. Once I have more info on your criteria, I will send you all the pertinent listings and you can then decide what's best suited for you.

Contact me at your convenience.

Titi, I'm sure they will be a number of Realtors offering their assistance. I happen to be one of the top rated Buyers Agents here in Austin, Texas, plus I work for the #1 rated Real Estate company in United States, Keller Williams Realty. We are also #1 in Austin Texas specifically. I have a great team of lenders, inspectors, title people, etc. to work with us as well.

If you would like to discuss me assisting you, I will be happy to talk with you and see if I may be of further assistance. I help buyers relocate to Austin all the time, and do not charge anything for my services. I am also a Master Instructor and teach Buyer Representation, Negotiations, Contracts, etc., and have an excellent track record helping buyers like you find just the right home at just the right price!

PS-I happen to be assisting buyers relocating to Austin this weekend, so if you do call and I do not pick up, please leave me a name and number and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks, Joe

Well, as you have probably gleaned from the inordinately high number of responses to this particular post, there is no shortage of realtors (including myself) here in Austin who are willing to help out a couple of people looking to purchase long distance, so you should definitely shop around until you find someone with whom you really have a good rapport and who gets what you're looking for.

Let me know if I can help. And good luck with the search. You may just decide to make Austin your full-time home. It's a great town (though, if you're buying a second home here, it is quite likely that you know that already).

Hello Titi. This is something that I've done several times, particularly for investors. It requires more effort on the part of the Realtor to ensure that you're able to confirm the value and aspects of the home to your satisfaction. It's an interesting and iterative process but it can be done.

I'd be delighted to work with you on a purchase like this. I'm a former midwesterner (Iowa) and always happy to help someone from up that way discover how unique and wonderful Austin is.

Good afternoon. I recently closed a home with a couple that relocated from MN. You will need to find someone that can find what you are looking for and be an advocate for you while you are not around. Best wishes on an upcoming move.

Of course many realtors would be willing to work with you, but you need to find someone who you feel will do a good job. Don't be afraid to call a few different ones and interview them. I have been in your same position, so I know how tough it is to find a home in another state. Please feel free to contact me and see if I'd be a good match to help you find a home in Austin.

I have successfully worked with several out of state clients and have helped them find the perfect home. I preview, send photo walk-throughs, and make certain we communicate on a regular basis so I can focus in on your style, wish-list, and goals and stay within your desired budget. I can send detailed recommendations from previous clients if you wish.

I would love the opportunity to work with you and earn your business!

I would be happy to work with you long distance to find a great second home in Austin. I have done this many times and have in fact helped a man in Italy purchase a home long distance. I picked him up at the airport and drove him to a home he had bought sight unseen and he loved it. I listen and would be great working with you from a distance. Please contact me.
