Lulu: This was last listed in January of 2005. Unless there is a sign on the property stating it is for sale it may not be for sale any longer as it does not appear in the MLS.
Part of this property is zoned "vacant commercial". When it was listed it had two parcel numbers, both owned by the same person for a total of 2.82 acres. The two APN numbers are as follows: 381-210-009 which is the vacant commercial piece and 381-210-008 which is the one zoned residential and includes a small dwelling.
When a consumer is interested in purchasing a property that is not listed with an agent the first thing to do is find out if the owner is interested in selling the property. You can contact the owner yourself but to make sure that your interests are best served and to make sure that all of the proper disclosures are in place you can contact a Licensed Real Estate agent and have them represent you. The agent can pull recent sold comparables so that you know you are not paying too much for the property.
If you don't have an agent you can interview several and pick one to represent you. The agent can find the owner through the tax records and find out if they are willing to sell.
Good luck to you in your endeavor to purchase this lakefront property in Lake Elsinore.
