I was thinking about using Realtytrack, do they offer brokers?

Any Realtor can assist you in buying any foreclosed property; interview a few and choose the one you like best.

Dear Eva Last,

Based on your question, I know that many agents would be willing to assist you in your home search. Realty Trac does show some information about properties but to obtain any additional detailed information you will have to pay to obtain it.

Although you can purchase a foreclosed condo in Manhattan as advertised on Realty Trac, the process can take a longer time to purchase in comparison to a regular property. There are condos and coops in Manhattan from Harlem, Midtown, Upper East Side, Upper West Side, East Village, Soho, etc. Many areas and developments has been hit significantly hard by this current economy.

If you are the price is great, go for it, but know your limits. Some foreclosure may require a great deal of work, but the amount you save on the price could make up for it.

Good luck. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Realtytrac offers info on foreclosures. I would not use this paid service.

Personally I would contact a local realtor using the find a pro feature on trulia. It is under the advice and opinions tab. Interview a few buyers agents and see if they have any experience with foreclosures. Then have them do a search for your criteria and go from there.
