Overflow at any MSJ schools?

Asked by Msjbuyer, Fremont, CA Thu May 13, 2010

I am interested in buying a home in the MSJ area and wanted to find out if there is currently any overflow in any of the MSJ elementary schools? Chadbourne? Gomes? Mission Valley? What about the Weibel area? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hello there,

I went through the same research last year. I found these 2 links VERY helpful.

1) Attendance Areas. If you are interested in Mission San Jose High School, note that Weibel students will go to Irvington High School; not MSJ HS.

2) Fremont Unified provide historical overflow charts containing all school and grade. Be aware that historical data does not guarantee future behavior. (Especially with current budget issues...) I would recommend you contact the specific school directly.

Thanks for the answers. The school district website is definitely the best source of info.

There is always that possibility.
Best course of action is to ask directly from the school/district, as policies keep changing due to budgets, and so on.
