Once you make an offer on a foreclosure, how long does it take to hear back from the bank?

Do they look at your offer only and accept or deny or do they wait until they get multiple offers and pick the highest and best?

I submitted an offer on a foreclosure 3 weeks ago and can not get anyone to give me feedback. My buyers gave up today and withdrew their offer
