May I add, you can simply google this information, towns/schools, narrow your search based on your needs: price, commute, amenities. Make a selection of the communities that appeal to you, and visit these communities. There are many wonderful towns on LI where you can find a 3BR home in your price range. Many of us live and work in some of these towns and, yes, I will be very happy to help! :)
Hi Dan, A good source of information is the website http://www.greatschools.com. Once you determine which area you are interested in, please give us a call and we can get you started on home searches with our Free Private Home Buyers Website. You can reach us at our email -longislandrealtors@gmail.com

I mean, the list is long and I'm sure I missed some. LIke Gail said - Realtors can't comment on the school districts - that's up to you to do your own research online. BUT - these towns and some others offer homes in that price range with 3 bedrooms.
Realtors, by law, are not allowed to comment on communities or school districts....this is a very personal measurement. We are, however, allowed to be the source of the source. If you go to http://www.GailGladstone.com, you will be able to look at "community info" and "school info" which will allow you to compare.
If you contact me off line at Gail@GailGladstone.com, I will be happy to set you up with a complimentary account on ListingBook.com which will allow you to control your search for a new home based on your search requirements.

Hi Dan,
The most recent report for the schools was in this past Tuesday's Newsday. If you would like me to send them to you send me a quick email,cori.kaplan@cbmoves.com.
Here is the School Report Comparision Information... http://www.longislandschools.com/long-island-schools-report-
... Once you decide the schools, then you can look into the towns. Please feel free to call me for any questions you may have..cell#631-889-2997, or email jzilpelwar@yahoo.com..
Good Luck....
Suggest that you should start with the house and area requirements and then as a medium-ish requirement plug in school district. Visit the places ( three or four at the least ) that are do-able and contact the local realtors to get an idea of what is going on. At that point get your school thing going.
