Need some advice ... we made a bid on a bank-owned, foreclosed home at approximately $15000 below the asking price plus closing costs. The bank

refused our offer. We rebid at $9000 below asking plus closing costs. They countered with the asking price PLUS closing costs (so they were willing to cover closing costs, but increased the asking price), so we walked from the deal! This was all done within one week of the home being put onto the market. The house has now been on the market for 3 weeks, there have not been any other offers (and as far as we can tell, there has been little to no interest in the home), and we are still REALLY interested. At what point do we make another offer? Or is this likely a stagnant asking price that will not be changed? Any advice or suggestions would be wonderful!

If you really really like this house go for it. Make another offer with that 'same
agent try to do everything like introduction letter, increased deposit to 3% of the
purchase price, tell the agent to meet the Listing Agent to present in person.
I think this will go.,,,,,,

I would recommend making another offer. I have worked with many different banks and some are easier to work with than others. No price is ever set in stone and if the property is not getting much traffic then they should be willing to negotiate the price. Short Sales and foreclosures are tough to work but the buyer can reap the rewards. Make sure you are working with an agent who is experienced in this area. I would be happy to answer any questions that you have but, I do not want to cause a conflict with your realtor.
