Need real estate agent to help close on property in contract.

Asked by Stephen Rossi, San Francisco, CA Fri Sep 27, 2013

Hi -- We are in contract to purchase a property directly from the owner. I'm looking for an agent to help manage the close and paperwork for the transaction, including coordination between our lender, title company and inspector. If you'd be interested in helping, please let me know.

Stephen, your profile suggests you are a licensed agent (expired?) but is it just a coincidence that there is a Stephen Rossi employed by Trulia as Senior Director, Business Services Marketing?

I will close it. My answer apparently was too short. But I will close it. Info@sfanthony.com

This question is confusing as others have stated. Any clarification that you can provide on this?

Stephen, your comment is confusing.

Apparently you are a licensee. My best guess is that you are the prospective buyer. My next guess is that the FSBO is concerned by your superior knowledge in such matters.

If I have guessed correctly, I recommend that the FSBO search for representation on his/her own, not through you, either from a real estate licensee or from an attorney.

If I have not guessed correctly I recommend that you repost, indicating whether you are acting as an agent for one of the parties, or as a principal, and if the latter, whether you are the FSBO or the prospective buyer.

Best of luck.

Hi Stephen, congrats on getting into contract. I hope you have contingencies written into the contract? I'm willing to look over what you have and then we can decide if we are a good fit.

Here are a few dozen reviews from some past clients so you can get an idea of how I work.

Your question is a bit confusing to me. It seems you are an agent yourself. Are you looking for an agent to present the seller or do you wish someone else to represent the buyer?

Hi Stephen.
I would be delighted to help you out with this transaction! I am a seasoned Realtor and appraiser here in the city and am very familiar with the related contracts and what to look out for in negations. I am very responsive to email and phone calls, so call me and we can see if this would be a good match.
