We been looking for a house for sale in Platation Pointe, Clayton, NC. I will like to know how is the neighborhood and which will be the best one in Clayton. Thank you!
We moved to Plantation Pointe and we love it!!!! Thank you for all the advice.
We live in the nieghborhood and it is a great neighborhood for families. There are alot of kids of all ages and everyone is very friendly. There are also tennis courts, a playground, and a community pool. We put an inground pool in our yard for the simple fact that my children like to be in the water all day and in there own backyard they can be without having to stop what I am doing and leave to go to the pool . Unfortunately we are in the process of trying to sell our home because of space. My son races motocross and we need property for a track! Hope this info helps you.
Griselle - I've sold two houses in Plantation Pointe, and both my clients are very happy living there. Plantation Pointe has good access into Raleigh and the Research Triangle Park, especially if you learn a few of the back roads! Plantation Pointe is one of the better values in the area right now, and you can get a good amount of house for the money. It is part of Flowers Plantation, which you can get more information at http://www.flowersplantation.com but Plantation Pointe is not marketed by Flowers Plantation. As others have mentioned, there are miles of walking trails, close to shopping and the elementary school is right at the entrance to Flowers Plantation. Clayton still has the small time feel (for now, its growing fast) but is close to big city amenities. Plantation Pointe has its own Pool and Tennis court so you are not sharing with the other Flowers Plantation communities, so it's not as crowded. HOA fees are around $48 a month. Sewer and Water are handled by Aqua, power is Progress Energy, cable is Time Warner Cable and high speed Internet / Digital Phone are available. I think phone is Embarq, but all my clients have gone with Time Warner for phone service at PP for the savings. As of today, there are 21 houses listed in the MLS priced from $199,900 up to $294,900. The final phase is under construction now, and will probably take 1 to 2 years to finish up. Now is a great time to buy, please let me know if you have any specific questions, or would like to talk to someone who lives in the neighborhood. Thanks

Hi Griselle,
I was actually there last week with one of my clients, who happen to be from FL too. There are resales in the subdivision as well as new construction. They have some beautiful cul-de-sac & wooded lots to choose from. They'll be building till late 2009. It certainly is a very nice place. There are numerous amenities, swimming, tennis and walking trails. I recommend you visit the area yourself and get a feel for it.

Griselle, Don't forget about the pool and tennis court at the front of the subdivion with a low HOA due. There are miles of walking trails that intersect between Plantation Pointe and the surrounding Flowers Plantation community. You are withing 1/2 a block to the nearest grocery store, dryer cleaner, coffee shop, dentist and nail salon. This is a fast growing area due to the low county tax rate and excellent East Clayton Elementary. The utilities are with Aqua and Johnston County. My office is within a close proximity for your assistance.
Griselle,
Plantation Pointe is a nice community. Price range between 200-350K. The amenities are appropriate for the type community. You have very good access to Raleigh. I think this is a good consideration. Let us know if you need any help or if you would like to discuss other considerations.
