Need help looking for a house

Thediem
Home Buyer
Medford, OR

as of late to use for investment purposes, and to later move into.
understand that mortgages are fairly hard to get as of late.

However, I do have some pros:

-I am in the military, and may qualify for a VA mortgage.

But, cons:

- I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I want a home in the Medford area, or surround with a min of 2/2 in decent condition, preferably with a yard, but a condo or townhouse would suit the purpose.
- Every site that I have looked at thus far asks for my credit card info or charges a service fee. Is there a way around this? I can't afford much more than 80k. I am stationed overseas, so that presents some difficulty with the paperwork and closing, and obviously the maintenance of the house. This is however only temporary.

In order to secure the mortgage, I am obligated by the VA to obtain certain information. Purchase price, HOA fees, Payment instruction for appraisal if one is necessary, account numbers, lien holder name. Any advice?

Hello,

You will VA will not allow you to purchase a home for investment purposes. You are required to move into the property within 60 days. Does your bank statements or other documentation list Medford? Meaning, do you have documentation that will establish you live in Medford but are temporarily stationed outside of Medford?

In regards to securing a mortgage, your lender will handle obtaining the information required for VA. It is good of you to be involved so that you are aware of items such as any HOA dues, etc...
