sale and the second has given a verbal approval to the real estate agents, and when he asked about getting the approval sent to him, he was told by FLAGSTAR Bank that the approval was sent to an attorney and that he needed to contact him. This was 6 weeks ago and there has been no response by the attorney to the agents phone calls, and when he called flagstar back they told him to contat the attorney. Is there any hope or help??? Both the Sellers and us (the buyers) just wnt to get this done. we are ready to close escrow all we need is the second approval letter and it can close in no more then 4 business days. Help Pleasse
Your agent is going to be more agressive with getting ahold of the attorney. Send letters, get and email address, phone calls, or go visit the attorney...something. At the same time, you can't be rude to these people because that never works.
Hi Michael,
Sad to say but, you are at the Jr. loans mercy. Have your agent contact the listing agent and have him follow up with the attorney and second mortgage on a daily basis, until they get in touch or get some kind of communication going.
Be strong and good luck,
