A family issue came up so I was not able to take the offer. I just put in an offer on another home which I really love but found out it is the same listing agent that accepted my last offer. Do I still have a chance if or will the listing agent just throw out my offer?
Honesty is always the best answer, if you are honest about what happened, they shouldn't have a major problem with it, although the agent owes it to their client to inform them of what happened previously with you.
Good Luck!
I suppose as long as the listing agent thinks, or you can PROVE to them that your 'family issue' has been solved since the last time he/she accepted your other offer you should be fine.

Do you have a Realtor representing you as the buyer?
It is our responsibility to present every offer that comes in on our listings so that it really is up to the Seller to accept or decline the offer, not the listing agent.
If you could offer more information, I could better answer your questions.
Regards,
Linda
