dogs). I'm a single woman so I'd like to know what areas I can get the most for my money, with houses at a steady appreciation, are safe areas, and are within a 15 minute drive from stores, restaurants, etc. Georgetown? Round Rock? Liberty Hill? Leander?Jonestown? What do you think of these or do you have other suggestions?

To the North...Liberty Hill, Georgetown (may be a little higher), Weir, Leander, Cedar Park. To the South....Buda, Kyle, Bastrop. To the East...Thrall, Coupland (small towns with easy access).

Hi Laurie. My name is Connie Kozik. I am a realtor in Georgetown, TX. In response to your question, I think finding a property in this area meeting your needs for under 200k will be a little tough. Although I do know of one in particular for 250k. It is in Georgetown, 3.4ac unfenced, new construction. Let me know if I can help you in your search! conniekozik@gmail.com

Thanks, Colorado Realtors, but to me, "4 mild seasons" doesn't include temperatures below 50 degrees. I lived in Wash., DC for 40 plus years and it's as cold and as humid as I want to ever get....inhumane, if you ask me, but I made smart real estate investment decisions that allowed me to get outta there and spend 4 1/2 years in southern California. So Cal. totally spoiled me weather and beauty-wise, but it costs a lot to live in Paradise (after selling my home, allowed me to move to s/w New Mexico and "retire" for 2 years). Now I'm at another crossroad -- can't afford Cali/can't afford land in Cali....so I've been looking into central Texas....4 gentle seasons from what I've heard and read. So, thank you very much for your reply. Thank you, Ian, for your reply. My budget is $200k...my pre-approval is twice that....but I refuse to be a slave to my mortgage payment again!!! GGGRRRR! Any suggestions on locations in central Texas as I asked before? Thanks for your time! Laurie

Come to our website listed below http://(www.puebloareahomesforsale.com) and check out the homes in Pueblo West, CO. Plenty of water, 4 mild seasons, mountains just minutes away. You can also buy the acreage and build a new home. Lots of horse properties, too! Just 5-15 minutes from stores, restaurants, etc, 35 minutes from Colorado Springs, and approx 1.5 hours from Denver.

Is this your budget, or is it what you are preapproved for?
If preapproved, find yourself an agent to tighten up what you can get for your money.
