I have paid some money before loan precessing started. Can I say because loan broker can not deliver loan at promising time, I should ask for money back from loan broker?

The mortgage bank can not get my tax return from IRS even though bank has approved loan to me. Therefore, bank can not deliver loan at closing time. Bank is still waiting for IRS's response and there is no time frame at all. What should I do? If I walk away because this bank can not deliver loan at closing time, can I get a new broker to apply loan from another bank ?

Switching Loan Officers will put off a closing even longer, especially if you're using another Lender. What exactly did the Loan Officer do for your loan NOT to close?

Any money that has been vested - say an appraisal fee or what not. You may need more time to close too. A new lender will need a few weeks at least.
