Sometimes it may be better to keep the mortgage in one name due to government programs and breaks they give you. Please give me a call to discuss further.

Diana,

There are some houses out there that have separate living quarters. If you will send me information such as price range and areas you want to look at, I'll be glad to send you the listings that are currently active and show you any of them you would like.

Besides getting the mortgage together, you need to decide how you will hold title. Tenants in common or Joint tenancy. That determines who gets the share of the property when one of the parties dies. what would happen if one of you wanted to sell? Are you and you husband going to own 1/2 or 1/3 each? These questions need to be answered and written down in case of future questions and memories get selective.

Hello, it all depends on incomes and credit scores. She would be a co-signer of the loan. Not very difficult as long as the above is good. If you have anymore questions go to http://www.yourexitrealor.com serving central Arkansas area.

Have a great day.
