Hi Nakia,

Would you be of interest in renting a home that you could possibly purchase at a later date? If this could work for you, I can be of assistance. Please feel free to contact me for more details.

Hi Nakia, Your best bet is to answer the question of whether you are in the position to buy or not before you give up on it. Whether you buy or rent, your credit score will have to be determined (most landlords require it). If you are a first time buyer, it is an extraordinary time to buy with prices relaxes, inventory high, and rates low and the incentive of the Federal Tax Credit (up to $8,000!).

Please reach out to me and we can discuss your ability to buy - and if that is not in the cards, I have resources that can help you with a long term plan to ready yourselves for a future purchase. In the meantime, I can help you with rental as well.

We are hosting a Buyer's Seminar next Sat. in our office - no obligation, free and very informative. You can find more information at my website http://www.feenick.com Planned Events - I'll be updating it later today.

Nakia,
How do you know that your credit isn't strong enough? What is your credit score? You can get FHA financing even with scores in the upper 500s. It's a case by case situation based on the overall strength of your situation. There are some very affordable houses in the Livingston area -- again, depends on your cinome and assets.

Nakia... I can't help you with a rental, but I could help you with your credit, some planning, to come up with a game plan for the near future.

Please read this first time homebuyers series that I wrote about :

Again, I would have no problem talking to you about your credit and a plan. You just can't assume.

Thanks,
jeff
