contact Jeffrey Heidtmann of Connecticut Mortgage Services. I am a Realtor and I will not hesitate to recommend him. His office number is 806-644-9264 x 12. He has been doing this for 24 years. He takes time to explain details to the buyers and give them the options they are comfortable with.

Gabrielle,
It depends what you mean by "not so good". There aren't really any programs out there for people with poor credit unless you are prepared to pony up 20% or more down payment. If you're not a big fan of paying your bills or managing a budget, then you probably need to get some counseling on managing finances and work on things a bit and save some money.
On the other hand, if your "not so good" credit is the result of extenuating circumstances (job loss, medical bills) AND if you can prove you've been working towards improving things (no late payments in the last 12 months, nothing serious the last 24 months, and at least a minimum pattern of savings) then you may be a candidate for an FHA loan right now.
Mortgage requirements now are much tighter than in the past. A credit score of 620 today is treated like a 520 credit score would have been a year ago. Not to be doom and gloom, but if your credit score is less than 720 these days you are going to pay a lot more to get a mortgage.
If you need to be out of your house by then end of the month, it's going to be difficult to buy something in that time frame because even after you find a home to buy it takes anywhere from 20-60 days to close on the new home.
If you have to be out, then I'd recommend staying with family or looking for a new place to rent for the time being. Call up a reputable lender (I like to consider myself one!) and have them pull your credit and determine what you may be qualified for now. If it's not do-able now, then find out what you need to do to get there. A good mortgage is like losing weight - you need to set up a good gameplan and stick to it, and you don't shed 50 pound overnight!
