Do we qualify for the $ 8,000.00 credit as a first time homeowners? My husband owned a house before in his previous marriage, I never owned a house.

FIRST ANSWER
A first time buyer is defined as someone who has not owned a home in the past 3 years. if your husband fits this criteria,you can qualify.
