place, no matter how humble. We don't want to stay in Atlantic City despite the Live Where You Work program
because the condo units are too small and have no assigned parking slots. We're choosing between 1BR/1BA listings in Brigantine( a bit more spacious, with parking) and 2BR/1.5 to 2 BA listings in Absecon, within the same price range. What would be the better buy for us, in terms of future rentability and value appreciation? We're senior citizens and we intend to sell, rent out or avail of home equity in about 6 years.
Some of the things you should consider in evaluating the two locations are the annual taxes and the homeowners insurance costs. Also take a look at the rental history of each community.
If you'd like further information on things to consider in your decision making process, please contact me.

There is much more to real estate "investing" than zip codes, size, and parking. Brigantine, Absecon and Atlantic City are not your only options - there is also Ventnor, Somers Point, and other areas that are close to AC and bus routes. Real appreciation is subject to many variables and the rental income can change significantly in future markets. Without knowing the exact two places you are considering and why then I really can't give an opinion.
Good Luck
