Sarasota Pool Home’s answer
Hi Jack ~ This is to second Mike Beninato's opinion below: the heavenly slice of Sarasota just north of University Parkway is about as safe, secure and appealing as it gets. Only 11 minutes to downtown, it's just 15 minutes to the beach, and handy to I-75 and St. Pete, Naples, Tampa and etc.. Many of the subdivisions in this area are within walking distance to banks, shopping, dining, entertainment and more. Neighbors are generally quiet and respectful with pride in ownership, and there's a feeling of spaciousness that surrounds the locale due to all the adjacent, open pasture land. Be sure to check out Glenbrooke Estates (just 1.5 miles from this home) when you're in the area again. Chances are you'll feel as if you have found your niche here in zip code 34243. (((Smiles)))

Hello Jack,
Just Sat. I had a man walk into the office to buy a place on Siesta Key (2012 best beach in U.S.A.) The weather has captivated him. AS for your safety all I can say is that I have lived in this county for 35+ years and have had no trouble with the exception of having my mailbox knoked off (without damage) 12 years ago. My kids grew up here. You already know about that property, I can send to you some other like kind properties if you would like to save yourself some time and effort and let me do the work for you.

This is a hard question truly, Legally I can not say it is is safe or not,
I can suggest you can review through our county website in both Bradneton and Sarasota crime stats bye area
I can tell you this , i have lived here since 1986 and have 2 small issue, where my car got broken into and both times they somehow unlocked the door without breaking anything
otherswise for me all good
Crime although can happen anywhere and not being vague just truthful,
alarms are always good too
hope this helps a bit
go to the county website though and look at crime stats that is the best way to go

I live very close to that subdivision my self. This is an incredible location just off University Pkwy in the 34243 zip code which happens to be the only zip that has a Sarasota address but is in Manatee county. The reason this is a good location is because currently the largest mall is under construction that will have the best shops in all of Sarasota as well as it is close to SRQ airport close to I-75 and just 20 minutes to our fabulous beaches. There are many different subdivisions in this area with a whole variation of homes if you would like to see more please feel free to contact me any time.

A Realtor can provide you with a neighborhood report. You can also search the Sarasota County Sherrif's Department web site for crime statistics. You can use Google maps to view the property as an aerial view and see up and down the streets with the street view map. You need to visit the area and drive around the neighborhood during different times such as day, night, and the weekend to see what activity is going on in the neighborhood.

This home is in the gated community of Sonoma. It is currenlty listed as Active with Contract, which means they have an accepted offer with a closing date of 2/26/13. They are taking back up offers just in case the deal falls through. You can use my web site to search for properties in the MLS that are still Active - http://www.tammyhayes.remaxagent.com/

I would be happy to answer any other questions you may have.
