I'm pretty familiar with most of these actually. It would seem the bulk of the buyers I have been working with have similar tastes.. :)
Just for fun... here are the ones that have pools:
You picked an amazing time to be looking... Rates are down and for the most part, sellers are ready to wheel and deal. But, homes with acrage you need to move pretty fast as far as taking a look. I've noticed that they are selling quite fast. The demand has gone way up for homes with a little space between neighbors :)
Give me a call, shoot me a text, or send me an e-mail and we can go see some of these whenever you like.

Pretty cool area to live in, it's where we've been living for the past 5 years, transplants from Southern California. I have to agree with the hubby, the pool is a pain in the backside. This subdivision has a 30 acre park for the residents and quite a few other amenities included in the HOA fees (approx 300 a year) Pool fee of $200 per year that's optional (per family) - you can get it for 1/2 that cost if you assist with three community projects (Easter Egg Hunt, Halloween Event, Brush Clean up or whatever other events a volunteer is needed for).

I have a listing in Bear Springs on 5 acres (will accomodate horses) with a second building that has 2 bedrooms and full bath. Their son and his family lived in it for 2 years while they decided what to do concerning a home. It doesn't have a pool but plenty of room for one. It also has a shed/workshop (has electricity). It is only $279,900--plenty of room to add a pool and be under budget. The total square footage, including the second building, is 3022 square feet. The main house has 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths.
150 CR 2724, Mico, TX 78056 only 15 minutes from 1604 and Culebra and all the shopping in that area. Country living close to the city.
Call me if you would like to see the home.
If this one doesn't work for you it would be my pleasure to show you others.
I'd be glad to provide you a list of homes on an acreage. Fortunately you'll have a lot to choose from here in San Antonio. I have a shortened list of about 30 beautiful homes around 300- 400k in very nice locations. Give me a call when you have a second and I'll be glad to forward you this list.

Well, you have definitely come to the right place to find an agent in San Antonio TX :). There are plenty of us that can defintely help you out. So sorry that the one's you called didn't answer there phones. I have heard that a bunch and really that puzzles me.
There are plenty of homes in the Greater San Antonio TX area that will meet your search requirements. If you check out my site here, you can do a map search that will show you homes inside the city limits and outside of them.
As far as pools go, I think it would be great to have one however, remember that there are maintenance costs with them and your insurance may go up a bit. With the Texas weather though, you can pretty much use them almost all year round :).
As far as fining an agent, just do some research and look at their sites and see what they can offer you. This is the best time to buy in San Antonio TX as the rates are ridiculous. Having a buyers agent to help navigate you through the home buying process is going to be a huge benefit for you. If you have not gotten qualified through a lender as yet, I also can give you references.
Good luck with your search and if you would like my help in findng a home, please feel free to contact me :).
In our Texas heat, a pool would be nice, but there are maintenance expenses that come along with a pool which you can do yourself or have pool maintenance service. I would suggest purchasing a home that already has a pool, it will be less of a expense, then a brand new one.
Call me and I will be happy to answer all your questions and send you homes with 1 acre lots to view today!
Have an awesome Thursday!
