It sure can be frustrating to online consumer when the secondary site, like Trulia, Zillow, Redfin, don't list things like condo dues, age restrictions of a mobile park. As a general rule in our area of the Greater Olympia, WA community, most senior mobile home park fees are about $600+ a month. Some like Thunderbird Villa in Tumwater can be as low as $300 but that is if the owner bought shares in the park. Even all age parks are over $400 a month. It is very hard to know without an agent/REALTOR looking for you. As other agents have mentioned, we have way better filters and we can actually tell you what those fees cover, pet rules, and much more. We have senior condos off Carpenter Rd in Lacey that have very high dues, or seemingly so, until you factor in this includes just about everything including a community shared garden, and someone can even come and change your light bulb.

Happy shopping.

Thank you! That helps explain things.
Only one advantage of these sites, is that it allows a consumer to get an overview of lots of areas.

The agent did input the listing correctly into the MLS... apparently the space rent is not a field that Trulia picks up. The space rent is $655 / month and yes, it is a senior park. I agree with the suggestion that you might want to find an agent in the area... we can set up searches in the MLS with your desired criteria (include or exclude senior park and space rent not to exceed X dollars, etc) and send you listings that more closely match what you are looking for.

Sites like this will never replace a Realtor. We have filters in our MLS searches that can focus on what you are looking for and experience to know if the data is input wrong. As a buyer, you don't pay our fee the seller does and it's predetermined whether you use a buyer’s agent or not.
Save yourself the time and headaches and find a great local agent to assist you.
