Metuchen transportation options into NY City/PATH trains : Jersey City, NJ?
Hi - planning to buy a house in Metuchen, being single mom have considerable issues with transportation. Is there any shuttle service criss-crossing Metuchen to railway stations - Metuchen/Metro-park/Edison? How about bus service to NY City or Jersey City? I AM ALREADY AWARE OF TRAIN SCHEDULES but more interested to know ALTERNATIVE routes to City and inside Metuchen.

FIRST ANSWER
Below is a link to the Borough of Metuchen website where there is a schedule for the free jitney bus service to and from the Metuchen train station. Also the NJ Transit website has more bus information about routes and schedules of bus service in Middlesex Co and into NYC http://www.njtransit.com
