Lots of homes near Summerville have acreage, but don't allow horses. Is there a specific area that will?

Not sure what you are looking for as to price range, but below is a link to a great value in a home on 3 lakefront acres (private lake ) and the property is already set up for horses: with a 2 stall horse barn (with workshop), tack room, corral, pasture irrigation, etc.

Boat ramp for access to open water on the Edisto River is very nearby as well.

It is in the Cottageville/ Ridgeville area and is about 15 mins. to Summerville. Just FYI - here is the link:

Hey Diana,

There are several neighborhoods in Summerville that allow horses - Huntington Farms, Caire Yellow, Senrab Farms and Summerset Acres. There is also a horse farm for sale that has 5 acres, fenced in horse pastures, a barn and a swimming pool. It is not in a neighborhood but is less than 10 minutes from downtown Summerville. I live in Summerville and grew up with horses. My family has a horse farm in Ridgeville which is about 20 minutes from Summerville. Please give me a call if I can be of assistance to you (843) 259-4926. You can also search for properties on my website at http://www.pambassproperties.com.

Hi! My name is Loren Bethea and I am an agent with Keller Williams Realty. I specialize in the Summerville area and am a horse lover and rider myself! There is a neighborhood in the Summerville area called Caire Yealle that will allow horses. There is only 1 property currently for sale in Caire Yealle but it does have decent acreage, horse fencing already in place and an air conditioned dog house to boot! If you would like more info on this property, please forward me some contact information and I will get it to you right away. Are you specifically looking for a "neighorhood"? There are other areas for sale here that will allow horses but are more out in the country as opposed to a neighborhood. Please let me know how I can help you. Meanwhile, happy riding!
