I am from the West and I love contemporary homes. Wonderful large windows that let the sun and scenery in. I bought in Rivermont and for the price, this community has the most amenities, best schools, and best value. Large houses on large lots, No cookie cutter houses here. I bought in here.Buy here and you won't be sorry.

If you grade Rivermont on a scale compared to all other country club communities in the Atlanta area it would rank low. This is not to say it's not located in a nice area with good schools, but there are some fantastic country club communities here in Atlanta.

I used to work in the golf industry and know this subject matter very well. As Hank mentioned your choice of home style is very limited to contemporary design and resale is not that good for this type construction.

I appraise (and appraised) many homes in here and represented buyers a time or two over the last several years, it's a good spot. Rivermont is community that offers good value and excellent location, the predominant value in the area is above that of the community. Locationally it's also desirable as there are main and secondary roads for access in all directions. Schools are solid and the area enjoys a favorable reputation.

The downside (relative of course) is that these are older homes and some designs (contemporary mainly) do not have wide market appeal. Many of the homes have been updated in various ways, some still need that and are appropriately priced. This is a development offering good value, excellent location and the opportunity (if desired) to buy a home for a decent price and put your stamp on it.
