Would like to be relatively close to town. Quiet neighborhood. 3/br/2/ba 1800-2000 sf. Can you suggest areas and average prices? We would like to stay under $250K, if possible.

Sounds like Round Rock would be a great area with that SF. There are also some nice homes with smaller SF closer to Austin, but for the money you will only be about 20-30 Min from DT.
You can search http://www.centraltexashomerebates.com/html/mls_home_search_.html to get accurate up todate listings in the Austin area.
Need any help please let me know.

Good day. I would love to share with you a great town that is relatively close to downtown Austin, that is quiet and has plenty of activities to boot. Here is a link to 16 homes in Georgetown Texas; http://actris.mlxchange.com/Pub/EmailView.asp?r=559270105&am… which meet your criteria as listed above. I hope you find these homes to your liking. You can read up about this community at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georgetown,_Texas.

Hi Christy,

I would be happy to make suggestions on where to look for your retirement home. Are there activities you like to participate in that you want to live close to? Are your reasons for wanting to be close to town due to these activities, church, healthcare, shopping, etc.? I am a native south Austinite and third generation south Austin Realtor, and know that there are plenty of neighborhoods under $250,000 with 3 bed., 2000 sf. all around Austin. Have you visited Austin lately? Please feel free to email or call me with more specifics and I would be happy to send properties that meet your criteria. Thank you, I look forward to hearing from you.

Congratulations on your relocation to the Austin area. My team and I work closely with many people who have relocated to the Austin area and I personally specialize in homes in and around the Austin/Central Texas area, specifically central Austin.

There are many factors to consider when looking at different neighborhoods/communities including amenities, proximity to health care providers, if you are working, how far away you are from employers, distance to shopping, and so on. In addition, tax rates are an important factor in the equation too.

My team has been working in the Central Texas/Austin area for nearly 10 years and I personally have 14 years of experience in the Real Estate/Mortgage business. I provide a Concierge Service for all of my buyers that includes a service which will set up all of your utilities for you without you having to scramble to make phone calls to providers. We handle all that for you so your utilities are set up at your new house when you close.

I would be honored to have the opportunity to speak with you about your relocation. Call me today and I would be happy to answer any questions that you may have and provide you any information you need including a relocation guide to Austin.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Austin is a great place to retire to and we have houses for every budget. I am a huge fan of South Austin. You can be downtown in minutes and yet the home values are very good.....You can buy a great home in South Austin well under $250,000! Home prices are on the increase and new shopping, banks and first rate schools are increasing every month. South Austin is also the gateway to great things like Salt Lick Barbeque and the Mandola Estate Winery and their Restaurant: Trattoria Lisina. (My favorite Italian restaurant)

I would be thrilled to share more about why I live in South Austin.....

Have a great day.
