Looking to relocate from Canada. Where will be great area near 46216?

Asked by sosuzu, Indianapolis, IN Sun Feb 10, 2013

Is there any way to find a lender to buy when you are not from the usa? As my first choice would be to buy around the area of the school.

I would be happy to discuss this further with you with the help of some additional information. Do you know what school you are looking to purchase in close proximity to?

I look forward to your reply or feel free to call me 317-590-3434.

Sosuzu,

I like 46256, having lived and worked in that area too. Lawrence North
is the high school in much of that area. Fishers and Noblesville are
also nearby and offers you good school choices and quite a few newer
neighborhoods to choose from.

I think it's always a good idea to shop the best homes in the areas you're
interested in and then make your choice. I am an accomplished buyers'
agent and as such you can find a lot of wonderful endorsements of my
work if you google my name.

Hope to hear from you,

As a Realtor with 40 years experience in the area, I would recommend 46256, 46236, 46055, 46037, 46038 and 46040. Price range is a concern as well as home requirements. Would be happy to meet with you to discuss your wants and needs. We also offer a commission rebate of up to 1.25% of the purchase price. Visit KenFisherRealtors.com/BestBuy.html.

Hello Sosuzu,

No need to get a referral from one local agent to another. I have lived in the Ft Ben area and have sold homes in that area. One of my lenders just took care of two of my clients - one is Canadian and the other is German. She closed both loans within 2 months.

Contact me at 317.513.4652 or at marita@maritatopmiller.com

Thanks,

Marita

The area 46216 is around what use to be known as the former Ft. Benjamin Harrison. It was a military training post and was closed a few years back, but the grounds are beautiful and it is a great area. This area is in the Metropolitan School District of Lawrence Township and there are schools in that area. I would be happy to refer you to a lender, if you will contact me.

I look forward to talking with you about your real estate needs.

Hi Sosuzu,

Welcome to Indiana! You mention, school, so I assume you have kids. I would strongly recommend Fishers (46037) - which is in the county just to the north of 46216 (I assume that's where you'll be working). That is served by the Hamilton Southeastern School Corporation which is top rated in terms of school performance. The other Fishers ZIP is 46038 which would also work. Commute time would be 15 - 20 minutes.

I personally was an immigrant to the USA many years ago and got a loan at competitive rates 6 weeks after we landed. I will ask a couple of lenders how they feel about Canadians!
