Looking to buy a small, even tiny, home. Prefer old house/slave quarters/ carriage house/ with character,

downtown or very near and a few minutes walk or drive from Hitchcock woods. I am an artist, so lots of interior light is desired. I'd also consider housesitting, homeshare, or other arrangements. I'd be moving from Minneapolis area to care for aging parents. Any suggestions.

We have a house in Aiken that is near Hitchcock woods (Dibble Road / Highland Park side) that has great light ( 2 large rooms have floor to ceiling windows) and is either for rent of for sale. The house is located on Rollingwood West near the intersection with Laurel. Additionally, we have another rental on the other side of the woods in the horse district that is smaller, has good light and will be available in Mid October. The second house is also be for sale or for rent. It's location is on Nottingham Drive off of Banks Mill Road. Neither home is listed for sale as they are primarily rentals, and both are located in established, homeowner neighborhoods. If you would like photos of either home, or would like to take a look at them please email me.

Good luck finding what you are looking for, Aiken is a great place to be!

Julia:

I have a really good friend that is an agent in the Aiken area (which is 45 minutues from my office). She would be more than happy to speak with you about your real estate needs.

In an effort to not place her information in a public format, please feel free to contact me for that information.

I look forward to speaking with you.
