Home Buying in Fort Worth>Question Details

jerrycobol, Home Buyer in Azle, TX

Looking to buy a home in the Ft. Worth Texas area. The problem is a recent bankruptcy. After bankruptcy, I still have income and no debts.

Banruptcy was forced by clawback lawsuit from investing in a Ponzi scheme.
Is there any way I can qualify to rent or own a home?

There is certainly a chance. Depends on your credit score and income amongst other things, of course. Renting is mostly based off of rental history. While credit is taken into consideration they really just want to make sure you have a steady pay check and you do not have a pile of evictions in the past. Give me a call when you get the chance and I can walk you through some options.
