Buy a foreclosure...there are MANY available now within walking distance to Pier Park, which is the pier I'll bet you're talking about. This is the Pier with Margaritaville, Ron Jon...a fabulous Simon development on the West end of Panama City Beach.

Please note: The same company that is building the pier at Pier Park (which is the City Pier) just started construction of our County Pier. SO...we have 2 beautiful new piers under construction, but neither is completed.

I would consider Sterling Breeze, one of the newer condominiums in Panama City Beach. It's located east of Highway 79, near Pier Park, and has an absolutely amazing pool with views of the water. Sterling Breeze was completed in 2007, has units with larger square footage than many of the other condominiums and has a contemporary style.
