Hi Sally,

Bluffview is a wonderful community in Dallas just next to Highland Park and University Park. Depending upon your budget the homes there listed from the $300's to millions. If you tell me your email I'd be happy to search and send you properties in Bluffview. Or you can also search from my website at http://www.dfwdreamhomes.net. I'm not sure what you mean by area to stay away from, Bluffview is a great community.

Take care,

When I say "area", I mean specific streets. I noticed that the homes near lemmon avenue appear to be not as desirable as the homes on bluffview. My price range is below $800,000 but I am finding more homes in that price range near Lemmon.

Hi Sally,

Bluffview is an upscale community in north west Dallas. The area, along with Devonshire, ranges in price from the low 300s up to well over a million. Homes in this area were built starting in the 1940’s and are cute quiet homes. The neighborhood is located right next to Highland Park and just south-west of Preston Hollow. Inwood Shopping Center is just to south.

I am not sure what you mean by what area to stay away from. You can visit my website at http://www.findyourtexashome.com/bluffview/ for homes in the area.

I would be happy to talk to you in my uptown office if you like and we can go thru a lot of pros and cons of this area. You can email me at dixondfw@gmail.com

Thanks

Bluffview is a pretty small area....Roughly NW Hwy to Elsby and Midway to Inwood.

What do you mean by what areas should you stay away from? You don't really have a lot of choice.

You can see homes in this general area at this link:
http://www.metroplexhomesalesinfo.com/community/area/Bluffvi…

It has been a pretty hot area and one of the most expensive areas of Dallas for a long time.
Mostly popular for the rolling terrain not seen in other parts of mostly FLAT DFW area.
Lots of big trees as well.

There are areas not far away that have completely different kinds of housing that are much less expensive, but these are slowly being cleaned up and improved. Every year things seem to improve in the less expensive areas, probably due to the location.
