Epicsconarti…, Home Buyer in Birmingham, AL

Looking for a lender experienced with Community HomeChoice or MyCommunity mortgages for disabled homeowners.

Asked by Epicsconartist, Birmingham, AL Fri Dec 28, 2012

Going through a divorce and need help keeping my home. I will be on a limited income with disability, child support & alimony. The house is essential to my continued good health & that of my children, who are also disabled. Right now we have a 5 year fixed ARM that is in both our names. I want to keep the house & refinance but am concerned I won't qualify on my income alone. It's my understanding these mortgage products offer better options for people like me. I have significant equity in the house. Can anyone help?
