HELLO TONI,

I see that you originally asked your question back in January. Did you find a home? Did you communicate any further with any of the Realtors, that responded to your question?

The Borough of Doylestown is a very walkable, highly active town with a great history. The Bicentennial celebration just concluded was a week long celebration of all that's great about the area.

Doylestown is loaded with fun restaurants, a wide selection of cuisines, charming local shops, amazing museums, a kaleidoscope of diverse and interesting architectural designs.

The Michener Museum was able to land an amazing display of Renaissance art called the Offering of the Angels from the prestigious Uffizi Gallery in Florence Italy. It's the first time these works of art have been on exhibit outside of Europe. And you won't find them in Philadelphia, they're right here in the heart of Doylestown.

Of course so much of Doylestown Township is right next to the borough boasting a Central park of its own know for The Kid's castle there. A large and expanding Bike Trail System links many neighborhoods with downtown making this a great area to work or play.

If you would like to explore the Doylestown lifestyle and find a new home in the area for you or your family, contact us for a fast and friendly response.

He works well with other Realtors wehn it comes to resolvong issues but is not afraid to hold the seller ro task if they are in violation of the agreement. I'd be happy to make the referral to you. Hi Toni,

You have received a lot of great advise here, and I am sure you may be a bit overwhelmed. I'd like to make it real easy for you.

Go to http://www.DOYLESTOWN-Homes-for-sale.com/ Here you can do some relaxing
"window shopping. When you see something that interests you or if you have ANY questions at all, please call my partner Robert Wolfson. Rob lives in the Doylestown area and spends much of his time in the borough. You may reach him at 215-275-4717 or 800-339-5834. You may also email rob at Rob@RobertWolfson.com

Read what people are saying about Rob:
"Robert helped us find our first home in 2005, sell that starter home in 5 days (for a reasonable profit) in 2009, and he helped us find our new home in 2009. In each transaction, Robert was extremely helpful throughout the entire process - he understood our likes/dislikes, he understood our thought process and we trusted his opinions.
Despite Rob's laid back demeanor, we felt that he was a zealous advocate in negotiating with the opposing agent. We have recommended Rob to two friends and both have purchased homes with Rob as their agent. We would not hesitate to recommend him again."
- Troy Sisum, tdsisum1@yahoo.com

Check out the many additional comment from Rob's clients on "Web Reference" below.

Good Luck in your search, I am sure you will find a great home.

You already have a lot of fabulous responses to your question. I just wanted to wish you good luck in your search, and also let you know that you can set up an ongoing search on my website, based on your specific criteria/needs, the site is http://www.kimberlyrock.com

I ran a quick search between 400-500k for homes that were in 1 mile of the center of the borough (Actually 1 mile from Starbucks, of course!) :) Here is the direct link to those two listings for you to view!

Good Morning Toni,
It is now 8:45 am Sunday morning and according to Trend MLS there are 4 active listings in the borough of Doylestown. Two that stand out are-a 137 year old with alot of charm (beamed ceilings,Mercer tiles), another is a 50 year old brick home with all the modern amenities buyers want today.(beautiful redone kitchen with Stainless steel appliances and is adjacent to the family room). Both have private back yards too! I would love to show you these homes and more. E-mail me Cecilia.Scocchi@longand foster.com

Hi Toni,
Doylestown has much to offer in terms of shopping, dining, entertainment and in very close proximity to the Michener & Mercer Museums as well as the Doylestown Library. The train station is very close as well if you’d like to take the train to Philadelphia. There are numerous options available whether it be directly inside the Boro or just outside in a community called Doylestown Hunt. I would be more than happy to help you in your search as this is one of my primary areas. Please visit my website for information about me or the area. I wish you well in your search.

Hi Toni,

Just like others have suggested, it's a good idea to start working with a real estate agent who will help you identify potential properties. In the meantime, take a look at a page on my website, which displays properties for sale in Doylestown area in the $400K to $500K price range.

http://www.ephiladelphiarealestate.com/doylestown-real-estat…

Hope this helps. If you have any questions about any of the homes on my website, please don't hesitate to contact me anytime.

Take care,

Russell

Hi Toni - I'd definitely be interested in finding out a bit more about the specifics of the house you are searching for. The price range you specified is readily available in close range to Doylestown Borough, and even within the Borough itself. Feel free to contact me at (215) 740 - 0607 or email j.torres@cbhearthside.com with the information about your "perfect" house, and I'd be happy to show you what is available!

Regards,

Hi Toni,
Doylestown is such a great area, I grew up just a few miles south. There are currently three active listings in the $400-$500m range within .5 to .7 miles of the center of Doylestown’s shopping and restaurant s. And just within a few miles of some of the best food, shopping ,festivals, wineries, and educational areas.

My suggestion is to find a Real Estate Agent specializing in the Buck County area. Your Buyer’s Agent will help you tracking for your residential requirements, show you properties that fit your criteria, guide you through the offer to close process and best of all, the Buyer’s Agent works in your best interest and it’s Free as the commission is paid through the Listing Agent on the Seller’s side.

Good Luck and have fun with you big move, I’m sure you’ll just love the Doylestown area.
Please feel free to contact with any questions, I am currently a Realtor in the area and would love to help..
