Hi Patty,
A three bedroom loft is unusual, not impossible. Our office has a listing that is a 3 bedroom, huge 7000 sq ft loft. It is much larger than a typical house. It has its own "backyard space" too. It is a very unique property but is listed for $2,000,000. (Most people do not want to spend that much money on a loft).

The reason you can't find a 3br loft is there really aren't that many.

Most lofts are open spaces, and many have no bedrooms. You may want to find a larger space and building the walls in or create some other sort of partition.

I have the names of several contractors who work specifically on lofts that I can give you if you have questions.

Hi Patty,

You might want to search using google or yahoo and I'm sure you'll find websites dedicated to lofts in Downtown LA. Good luck.

Hi Patty,

Trulia doesn't currently show any 3-bedroom lofts for sale in Los Angeles but if you access the link below to a search for loft properties in the area you can sign up for email alerts (towards the bottom of the page) to ensure that you will be alerted when new lofts come on the market.
