Jessicachen7…, Home Buyer in San Mateo County, CA

Lexington Ave in San Mateo

Asked by Jessicachen716, San Mateo County, CA Wed Feb 27, 2013

I see some houses available on Lexington Ave in San Mateo next to green space which is next to 280. Is Lexington desirable because it is next to the green space or not desirable because it is closest to 280? Thoughts?

Also are people afraid of the high tension electric lines that runs in the green space there in between Lexington and 280?

Hi Jessica,

My office does alot of business up in the Highlands. We have never received complaints about the wires or any noise, to my knowledge. The Highlands is a very desirable area. We have actually had requests for the homes facing the greenspace.
My office also holds 'off market' listings in this area. Please contact me if you are interested in learning more.
I have sold homes in the area for more than 25 years and would love to help you.

David 'TAP' Tapper, Agent, Burlingame, CA I'm sure some have concerns about the electrical lines, but most buyers who purchase in the Highlands like the area, the Eichler homes and the schools. Not so much because of the green space.
