This property is also a short sale and as an agent that specializes in short sales I firmly believe the chances of the sellers lender agreeing to accept 100k is non-existent. Simply put, lenders still want near market value price if and when they agree to a short sale.
You can't purchase a waterfront pool home in Cape Coral for 100k unless you get EXTREMELY lucky and find a desperate seller who doesn't know the properties value. That will NOT happen with a short sale as the lender does have an agent not associated with the transaction prepare a BPO (brokers price opinion of value) to determine current market value based on recent sales.
