Contact me anytime to discuss the local housing market here in South Portland. Short sales and bank owned properties will not doubt show up in your search, I can guide you through this process and give you professional insight.

Since our economy appears to be credit-score driven, there would be a limited number of options with a score of 610. The 20% down payment will help you to qualify for a loan, but you may be paying a slightly higher rate. Best to talk to at least 2 lenders to compare costs and fees.

Good morning,

Might I recommend a more conservative approach to buying a home? There's a reason why your credit score is low. Attack that reason and improve your total financial standing before you take on the responsibility of a mortgage loan and homeownership.

As you can tell from the other responses there are a lot of lenders that will work with you. If you want to receive some reports that will help with your home buying experience go to this web page...
