If you did not buy the property to flip, you got nothing to worry about, you need a place to stay ,as long as you stay for a few years who cares whta the market is doing.
I am assuming that you mean because of the market value decreases. Purchasing Real Estate is always a good investment no matter what the market conditions are. If you plan to remain in your residence for some time, you have nothing to worry about.
