You present a great question that needs an answer. It is not to late for you make a move in buying another home. Your age shouldn't stop you. My professional advise for you would be to get a reverse mortgage. I sure you have heard of them and wondered what it is and what does it do. There is even a new program that will let you buy a house and never pay the mortgage back. I attended a class and was brought up to date on the great new product. I would like to have the oppurtunity to assitance you. There are plenty of homes waiting just for you!

Jim, everybody's circumstances are different and being of a particular age is not nearly enough information to determine what is best for you.
You would best be served by using a financial advisor who takes your best interest in account without the need to sell you any products.
