I live here and it is not as bad as the realitors want you to think it is. The one guy sends you to a web page that doesn't even exsist. Maybe they all want you to buy in their areas.

Erica talks about Polk county. Poinciana is a very SMALL part of Polk county. She says "it's pretty horrendous". She lives/works in Champions Gate, Disney is pretty Horrendous compard to that area. I used to build houses there, ther are many multi million dollar homes there or there was before the bottom fell out. So take her word for what you think it's worth.

Are there problems here? Sure there are some issues. But you live in the Bronx..... We do have some bad kids here and most of them are from New York and they like to show their butts every now and then. But with the way the economy has been latey alot of the bad element that should have never had a house in the first place has left. If I had the extra money, I wouldn't think twice about buying another home here. It would be a great investment for the future right now. Houses that sold for over 200K two years ago are going for 75K and less now. Very bad for the folks like me, but a great opportunity for people like yourself.

the best resource for issues of neighborhood safety is the local police department or the county sherrif's department. they have access to the most current and accurate information and are generally very willing to be of assistance.
